Isn't that Arches National Park?
The image in the header is in fact a shot of Arches National Park.
We liked the symbolism of this eastern Utah landmark for several reasons:
- The formations in Arches are obviously of stone.
- They are also some of the most dynamic naturally-occuring formations in the world. They are a reminder of how something beautiful may be coaxed of something stubborn. Software is rather similar at times.
- The kinds of things people do while visiting Arches are frequently collaborative, satisfying efforts that are dangerously close to work—hiking, rafting, biking, et al.
- As a national park, Arches is open and available to everyone.
These points together remind us of some of the thinking behind our company and so make the Arches image a fitting one for our public face.
